FD Group has begun the process of obtaining EN 9100 (AS/EN 9100) certification, an international standard specific to quality management systems in the aerospace, avionics and defence sectors.
The initiative was launched in response to growing demand from customers operating in highly regulated environments, where stringent requirements are in place in terms of risk management, traceability, product configuration, special process control and regulatory compliance throughout the entire service life cycle.
The adoption of the EN 9100 model involves the implementation of structured procedures for:
- risk-based thinking and preventive management of non-conformities
- document control and configuration management
- monitoring of process performance through measurable KPIs
- continuous qualification and evaluation of suppliers
- strengthening of internal audit systems and continuous improvement
This path consolidates FD Group’s alignment with international standards in the aerospace & defence sector, ensuring greater operational reliability, process security and transparency for customers.
