Description
FD Group, a consultancy company specialized in the Automotive and Industrial Machinery sectors, operating both nationally and internationally, is looking for a Connected Vehicle Backend Engineer to join its team:
Duties
- Design and develop scalable and secure backend architectures for connected vehicle services
- Collaborate with software development teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to integrate cloud-based systems and services
- Manage communication protocols between vehicle and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor and optimize the collection and analysis of telematics data from connected vehicles
- Handle change requests and support the release of new features in collaboration with project teams
- Support backend testing, validation, and debugging activities
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related fields
- Proven experience in backend development, preferably in the automotive sector
- Knowledge of communication protocols used in connected vehicle systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and connected services architecture
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with external suppliers
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
