Description
FD Group, a consultancy company specialized in the Automotive and Industrial Machinery sectors, operating across Italy and abroad, is looking for a CN/CAM Programmer Specialist to join its team:
Duties
- Develop CN programs for complex machining processes (turning, milling, grinding, drilling, probing)
- Simulate and verify toolpaths using dedicated software
- Create tool and equipment lists associated with each machining program
- Provide on-machine support during program debugging and first part production
- Finalize and freeze programs following geometric approval on the first part
Requirements

- Experience in developing CN programs for machining centers, twin-spindle lathes, and vertical lathes/grinders
- Strong knowledge of mechanical machining processes and CN cycles
- Ability to define tooling and fixtures based on the production process
- Familiarity with CNC controls, particularly Siemens 840D
- Experience with CAM software and simulation tools (specific names not required)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and process documentation
