FD Group, an Engineering & Design Consulting Company active throughout Italy and Europe, is looking for a professional to join its team as an Electronic Engineer/Designer, in the Defence & Aerospace sector, based in Emilia-Romagna.
Duties
Responsibilities:
• Design of onboard electronic architecture, defining network topologies, interfaces, and ECU
module specifications.
• Configuration and integration of communication protocols (CAN, CANopen,
CANaerospace) between electronic devices to ensure reliable and standards-compliant
data exchange.
• Support throughout the lifecycle of the electronic system, from design to validation and
onboard integration testing.
• Troubleshooting ECU communication issues using diagnostic, simulation, and testing tools.
• Collaboration with software, mechatronics, and certification teams to ensure system
requirements compatibility and traceability.
• Drafting of technical documentation, functional diagrams, interface specifications, and
integration manuals.
Requirements
Skills:
• Experience in the design of embedded electronic systems and their integration into complex architectures.
• Solid knowledge of CAN bus communication protocols and real-time integration issues.
• Ability to work with electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation in the aeronautical sector.
• Proficiency in testing, simulation, and network diagnostic tools.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in aerospace or automotive sectors is preferred.
