Description
FD Group, an Engineering & Design Consulting Company active throughout Italy and Europe, is looking for a professional to join its team as a Mechanical Designer (Catia):
Duties
-
3D design of mechanical components and assemblies
-
Preparation of technical documentation (detailed drawings, bill of materials, layouts)
-
Interaction with the technical department, production, and suppliers for product validation and industrialization
-
Support during the prototyping and testing phases
-
Collaboration with other designers and/or project managers for project development
-
Possible management of technical changes and project updates
Requirements
-
Education: Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related fields)
-
Experience: Even minimal experience in mechanical design is welcome (junior profiles and recent graduates with strong motivation will also be considered)

3D CAD knowledge in at least one of the following software, depending on the sector:

Catia V5 (or Creo) → Automotive and Aerospace

Ability to read technical drawings

Good knowledge of mechanical processes, tolerances, and materials

Teamwork skills, problem-solving attitude, and flexibility
